February 27, 2010 the Cyril Scott Pipe Band joined the 8 time Grammy winning Chieftains on the stage at Veterans Memorial in Columbus, Ohio for the third time in as many years. What a thrill and honor it has been to be asked to share the stage with this iconic Irish folk group. The pipes and drums played The March to Battle, a tune from the Chieftains new CD San Patricio, which commemorates the Irish who fought on the side of Mexico in the Mexican-American War of 1846.
